36 volt carts are no longer made - and upgrading them to more modern configuration is expensive! Even if you got that cart for free - you would need to spend $2,000+ to "modernize it".

Not in a huge hurry so I can definitely wait it out and try to fine one towards the end of the summer.
NOPE.... Not even at 1K

How old are the 4 new out of 6 batteries? The quickest was to RUIN new batteries is to mix them in with old batteries...

Perhaps at 500 perhaps...

I'd keep looking. I almost got in a hurry and bought a higher priced 36v. Kept looking on Craigslist and found this one. It was stock when I got it and in perfect condition. I have $500 for the cart 48v, put brand new Trojans in it for another $500 and got the wheels and tires for a smokin $400. Be patient, they are out there you just have to find them.

Not seen any deals like that on CL around this area but I couldn't give them my money fast enough if I found what you have pictured for that kind of $

This one came through a friend and his neighbor's cart. Thought last week the price would be in the $2500 range but was told today $3200 bottom dollar - would like fold down seat/not a fan of upholstery/looks like pre-2000 cart(unsure of age until I go out to see it)/would probably want to paint/wrap it

Thoughts from the experts?

How old are the batteries? $3200 still seems too high. Keep looking on craigslist, you could find a better deal than that.

Not sure what area of NC you're in but quickly found these:

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/rvd/5627332454.html

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/for/5633204983.html

With a little negotiation, could be some good deals here.

That first one you linked was one of two I looked at immediately after getting the message from my friend. I can see the cart I linked above at maybe $23-2500 but $3200 seemed high. The other was almost identical appearance and a few hundred cheaper - have already emailed one and might try the first one above. Thanks for the links, my hunch on both I have asked about seems on par - think I have narrowed down a comfy range.
