That "Custom" is for the curves, not the Throttle Type.

In the old software even if the selection was locked, it showed what type it was locked at.

To unlock It used to be Top Menu: Tools->Options->Edit Throttle Types (checkbox)

This might be another off the wall but. With all the big deal Alltrax made about the auto-cal throttle they never gave a procedure to adjust it. I got the following procedure off of an Alltrax rep. Maybe it will help somebody.

Once in the software you will click controller at the very top then clear auto cal. Once the auto cal clears (The bottom left corner of the window will indicate Auto Cal Cleared) you can work the pedal a few times to recalibrate the throttle. After completion you will want to run the cart to see if the problem persists.

You can check the throttle calibration by logging a run and seeing what percent throttle you get. Slowly move the throttle all the way from zero to full and back in one smooth motion. Then look at the log file and see what the throttle percent data looks like.

It looks like Alltrax changed the name of the MCOR throttle type yet again.

Hopefully the new one David sent will fix the issue, otherwise You will need to measure the MCOR resistance from the controller 16pin connector to make sure there is not a wiring issue.

On a side note, I just noticed a couple of real cool new things on Alltrax website:

They now show You how to wire a switch to select between the 3 user modes!
http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/DOC1...Q-WIRE-DIA.pdf
They added a new step-by-step write up on how to modify the heat sink on the Newer Precedents so when You install the XCT behind the batteries You can keep the environment cover!

I can empathize with getting a hard time for not leaving well enough alone. I fried my Alltrax controller the other day and now it's pool season and we don't have our cart to take to the pool. That said I sent my controller back to Alltrax Wednesday. I called Friday and they said a new one was on the way. The are very responsive on the phone, I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call. I can't remember getting better customer service.

Ok guys GREAT NEWS at least for now. David with Revolution Golf Carts rushed me out another MCOR I' got it installed yesterday and the cart is running GREAT not more jolting or surging at least for now. I will keep yall updated to see if the cart still rides great a week from now (because the last MCOR only lasted a few days) hopfuly that was just a fluke and the problem is fixed for good. I thank you all for the great help you have been

That would be great! Hooking to the computer all the time can be such a pain
