Default Handle HELP!!!

Either this thing is rusted on or I'm missing something. Trying to change F/R switch on 1987 36v DS. I've removed the screw in front, pulled, liquid wrench, tapped, beat..... Do I need to knock the roll pin out? I'm missing something

I guess it's seized up. Thanks for the diagram. I'll add more liquid wrench and try again.

I've had to cut, bust, chisel, several of those off on most of my builds. They are not real expensive. Less than $10 on flea Bay.
