Default battery ?

Just put distilled water into my batteries because they were getting close to plates. Now every Time I charge there is a good bit of water under cart from batteries. is this normal and if not what is causing it/

How full did you fill them? Generally you want 1/4" over the top of the plates to no more than 1/2" over the top of the plates. Any more than that can/will cause the batteries to bubble out some water vapor during the charge process until it lowers itself. Don't lower it yourself though as you will remove both acid & water....

I would also slide a piece of cardboard, carpet remnant or something under the cart if you don't want to get permanent stains on your garage floor.

After it's charged, you need to rinse the batteries down with a little water and baking soda to kill the acid

Water level RISES when you charge so never fill before charging unless the plates are exposed. (Then only fill just over the plates) Always fill after a complete charge. Never fill above the bottom of the fill ring inside the top.
