Default 04 Precedent Stops Running

My 2004 Precedent stops out of the wild blue. This usually occurs after running a relatively short distance--sometimes 20 feet, sometimes 100 yards. MCOR was "supposedly" replaced recently but the problem persists. If I push the cart a short distance, it will sometimes run again. If I let the cart sit for about 15 minutes it will usually start again, so I'm thinking something is getting hot and is having to cool down before it will run. I have not yet tried depressing the accelerator 20-30 times that I just saw suggested on here, but one would think a new MCOR would not require that. If I hear a "tink" after the cart stops in reverse or forward, it seems to run. No "tink"--no run. This appears to be a common problem with the Precedents, but my cart guy can't seem to figure it out and I'm certainly not versed in electrical. Any ideas?

Do you know what version of the MCOR your cart guy replaced the old one with? My cart had a version 2 and being unknowing I replaced with a version 3 to which it was junk/garbage absolutely no better than the one I removed. Installed a version 4 from David Hicks at http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/ and my cart has not so much as hiccuped since then... BTW I basically had the same issues as you did work, no work, stop working, work...

The receipt says item 102101101U, which according to one online parts store, is now obsolete. What part number did you install that obviously works with your Precedent? I'm thinking that David at Revolution could probably tell me if it would work on a 2004.

I have no idea the part number just contact David and he will help you out without robbing you by selling obsolete parts...
