Default Aq-06. For 200$

I just picked up an 2006 cc with the AQ prefix. That's an IQ cart I believe. Has lift kit and rims and knobbys on it.

Kid said the motor was shot and it's pulled off the cart. 4 12 batteries. Very low readings but all plates under water. Individual charge on car charger at the moment.

When I got it home I think the batteries were wired wrong.
Wired them back up and waiting to see if it takes a charge.

For the lift and wheels alone I thought 200 was a good deal.

Any input as where to start putting this back.together and diagnosis. Motor is out and will not spin. No charger but I do have one for my 48v 99 ds. Any issues using that same charger.

Your charger should work just fine. Double check the batteries are connected in series check stickies for instructions and photos. Send the motor to PQ or a rebuild shop. You may have a good one.

Thanks man. They were wired wrong for sure. Charged them and tried to put my charger on to see if it would kick in. It did not. What is the minimum pack voltage required to kick in the relay in the charger.

Also. If the motor is removed, would the charger kick in or is there a missing link in the ground.

I think the lowest resting voltage to kick in charger is about 42 volts.

As for the charger needing the motor to charge, I do not think so. The OBC that controls the charger is not linked to the motor for that process IIRC.

My bigger concern would be if the batteries were wired incorrectly, I would check for blown fuses and see if your controller is fried.

If the ends of the motors wires are bare be sure to tape them up. $200, it must have been a divorce sale.

I disconnected the main pos and neg while I charge theme individual. I was a young kid that got it from his uncle. Will post pics soon.

Motor was locked up and not spin. It's freed up but had a bunch of burnt debris in it.

I was thinking the same thing. I want to check the controller first before I decide on a motor. I have seen some aftermarkets that claim 20 plus MPh with stock controller.
