18v or 36v for reverse.
36v 1988 ds wiring diagram shows the reverse power cable connected to the third battery to give it olny 18v... But mine is hooked up to the first battery giving it 36v in reverse. It works but I'm wondering if it's OK?

Re: 18v or 36v for reverse.
If you can steer as good in reverse as you can in forward, no problem.

Re: 18v or 36v for reverse.
Generally 1/2 power reverse was used as a safety feature around the clubhouse. If you use the cart off road I like full power reverse so I can back out of a creek - but be careful around others.
