You can check the batteries one by one with a voltmeter without disconnecting them. Just read from the positive post to the negative post on each one.

Just tried and I'm getting sparks and nothing happening on volt meter.... any ideas?

Nevermind on the sparks my bad wrong setting left on the volt meter. In getting 6.5 on all batteries.

I'm still wondering if I should do something about that fuse. Looks little rough to me. Not even sure if it's possibly bypassed. Suggestions welcome :)

With the battery bank disconnected, you can check the continuity of the fuse lugs under the bracket. It does look like that plastic cover got hot at one end at one time.
