2001 "Ignition Switch" power question
Is a 2001 Club Car (AC0139) ignition switch supposed to have power (voltage) or is it just a continuity switch to complete the circuit. I have no brakes lights and no vehicle power at the relay behind the dash. I do have power through the brake switches to the relay. If it is supposed to be powered what is the source? The controller?

Re: 2001 "Ignition Switch" power question
Do you have a Tow/Run switch? Turn it to Run and you will have power at the switch.
Best way to think of an ignition switch on an electric golf cart is.... it operates like a light switch in your house. It completes the circuit. |

Re: 2001 "Ignition Switch" power question
No power to anything until switch is placed in run mode.
