Default 2009 Precedent won't go.

I was installing a 48-12v converter, and apparently put power or ground someplace I shouldn't have. Took it to CC dealer in town, who plugged in his magic box and said "no throttle signal". He went and got a new throttle assembly, plugged it in and said "same ting, must be the controller."

It may have been a busy time, and he didn't want to put much into it, but I'm not sure I like the trow parts at it trouble guess method. especially if I caused the problem without knowing what I did.

Any way, if its the controler its time to upgrade anyway. I want it to go faster, but at this point going is faster than not. Any suggestions on what to chack, or where to get parts?

BTW, it is a 2009 Precedent, with the factory Curtis 1515-5201 controller. It has had the TPS replaced with the MCOR assembly.

There are lots of us on here who would love to sell you parts, but I think we need to figure out the problem first. Is your cart at the dealer still or did you bring it home? We can help you narrow down the problem.

Thanks for the reply. The cart is at home, dealer didn't inspire much confidence.

Guess I didn't get moving early enough today. I'll try again Monday.

More information, if it helps.

I ohm'd out the throttle and got the following values:

Pedal up: A-C (blue-green) Open, B-E (wht-bk/wht) 6550, B-F (Wht-Yel) 9800, E-F (Bk/wht-Yel) 4400.
Pedal down: A-C 0, B-E 6550, B-F 2400, E-F 7400.

I was using Yel/Bk & Blu from the instrument panel 9-pin for a battery meter, I now have 12v to ground on the yel/bk wire.

What you need to do is remove the 48v converter you where trying to install. Use your notes and picture to put it back in original condition. You don't want to destroy any new parts you install.
