Precedent still has problems
A little advise please.
As mentioned in a previous thread my 08 Precedent was submerged during floods. I have since stripped it to bones and installed 2011 controller, loom, OBC as well as new MCOR, motor was pulled down and washed out checked and reassembled. Got things operational, rebuilt, and took it out proud as punch an hour later just stopped. Had the service guy check it over and reported a lug had detached from orange cable on the Motor, he replaced and said that the cart was OK in forward but would not operate in reverse. He suggested that the Controller was probably shot, however speaking to an out of town CC dealer he doubted this diagnosis, but didn't offer much direction. Weekend past I pulled the cart down again and started with the motor. I disconnected all cables and put a jumper between A1 F1 and also A2 F2 then ran a jumper lead to the terminals from 1 battery, cart wheel ran in reverse, reversed polarity at batteries wheel still ran in reverse, I'm confused, as it was running in forward till I disconnected motor. Sorry about the long Post but this thing isn't going to beat me, it's been 5 weekends now! Just as an aside the Polarity on the start switch has also reversed ie: 49v in OFF position and 0'ish in ON. Your help would be very appreciated! |
