Default 85 Club Car

Thank you for your site.
I have a 85 electric club car, when starting of it jumps...almost gives you whiplash....forward and reverse....any answers...any help on this....also would like to see a wiring diagram for it.

It is probably due to 1 or 2 solenoids bad. More than likely 2. There should be 5 of them under the seat. I would say its the 2nd and 3rd from the drivers side that are bad. At least it was on mine when it did that.

Your head whips back when you push the gas peddle

Hey, the one closest to the driver side is the master = powers up all of the others....which are all sequential speeds like gears? Essentially what you are describing is starting in 2nd or 3rd gear because 1st and/or 2nd is not working.... hope this helps... replace with only identical golf cart solenoids! As you push the gas peddle down each one will give a click you can hear or feel if your hand is on it....
