DS upgrade!!! big thanks TahoeDawgZ71 and Revolution golf Carts!
First of all thank you TahoeDawgZ71 and Revolution golf Carts! my 1998 DS cart with Bandit motor is now upgraded to IQ cart with Alltrax XCT 400 controller, 2ga cable upgrade and HD solenoid and this thing kicks major butt!
I have 10" rims with mud tires and 6" lift and it leaves black marks on my cement for nearly 2'. it has so much more power then I ever expected! it climbs hills like crazy! even at half throttle it was slinging mud and climbing with easy! love the upgrade! just need to tone it down a little bit for the campground! |

checked speed on GPS tonight and easily hit 25 mph!!!!!

What is an IQ cart? I currently have a bandit and have a SPM controller. Does that mean i could have used a xct controller as well. If either one can be used, what are the advantages/disadvantages of each?

The original poster said he had a bandit which I thought was a series motor. What besides the controller he use is different? Does the dr allow regenerative braking?
