Alltrax equipped not moving until half throttle
I just noticed today that the Precedent will not move until the throttle has been depressed about halfway down.
Scotty......you may can answer this. Can't I change the throttle curve to take care of this? Didin't you do the same thing on yours? Also, in reverse, I hit the throttle and nothing happens. Hit is again and it comes alive. My Son said that happened a couple times in forward the other day. -Craig |

Re: Alltrax equipped not moving until half throttle
Craig,
I spoke with Robbie about a possible motor and he mentioned something about if your Cart is stuck, let's say going uphill, to release the pedal and then re-engage the pedal otherwise you'll overheat the motor if the pedal is held down too long. Not quite the same thing but wouldn't want you to burn anything out. |

Re: Alltrax equipped not moving until half throttle
It sounds lie an MCOR problem..... possibly intermittent output or off the correct ohm scale somehow? Use the site search there is a thread on troubleshooting the MCOR out put....Seems to me to be the place to start with this one

Re: Alltrax equipped not moving until half throttle
Here's the thread with the MCOR test procedure...
POKE HERE The MCOR conversion kit I installed in my 1996 DS did a similar thing not long after getting the cart running.. Step on the "GO" pedal, solenoid clicked but no go.. Pump the pedal a few times and it would start working again.. I removed the access cover and drove the cart, when the problem reappeared, I watched the LED on the controller.. The controller was flashing the code for the throttle being out of range.. Took the MCOR back to the dealer I got the kit from, and got it swapped out under warranty.. |
