92 Club Car DS with AccuPower Charging Issues
I've got a 1992 Club Car DS 36 volt - Has Trojan 6 volt batteries-
Problem I am having is that the charger keeps at a constant 14-16amps, there is no high to low then float it seems. All the cables and contacts are clean and terminal protector has been sprayed. I know that batteries can get to where they don't hold a charge, but I also know that most batteries that are on their last leg typically won't take a charge rather. I feel like it's a ground issue possibly or is the wiring incorrect? Has a green wire running to battery 4, in my opinion I would say that it should go to battery 6? Not as familiar with these resistor style carts. Anyone have a wiring schematic or any idea on why the charger is staying at a constant 14-15amp? Photo of battery bank below... |

the green cable is half speed reverse
chargers can take up to 20 hrs to fully charge when depleted |
