Going to do a lot of riding this weekend (not too far in case I get stranded) to see if may quits again. If all seems well, it's on to the fun stuff I intended to do from the beginning, like upgrades to make it faster! May need you guy's help on that too. This is a great site!

Glad that you're joy riding, but may I suggest the first thing on your "to do list"--battery hold-downs. Happy trails.

Okay, here's why I'm called a lumox, I took the all the parts out of a great running cart (except the motor) and put them in the cart that won't move. The cart that won't move still won't move! I then put all the parts back into the good cart and now that one only goes in reverse. I believe that all the wires are tight and connected right, tomorrow I will take them all out and put them back in again to make sure. Unless someone can figure out if I forgot something. I never got back to the bad cart to test the motor yet, I'm assuming that's the problem.

It's time to stop the hi-jack and start your own thread.

Rode it around all evening and it never quit. Even GPS the speed at 13 mph.

I'm excited, yet confused at the same time. I touched/changed nothing from yesterday. The only explanation I can come up with is there was a loose connection, and with all my checking/testing/wiggling wires, something connected? We rode it for quite a while and it drove like a dream. We even lined it up with our gasser EZGO to see which was faster (The gasser won of course). I kept changing F-N-R, switching on/off trying to make it quit, but it never did. No noises from motor or rear end or anything out of ordinary. Almost like there was a gremlin in there and he just left.
Anyone ever heard of such a thing? And thanks for everyone's help!
Rather than start a new thread, I will ask from this one.
After a month of the cart running flawless, yesterday it stopped moving again, just like before. Solenoid tested good again, but I removed the wires from the solenoid and cleaned them and the posts and reinstalled. Still no go. Then I loosened the nuts @1/4 turn and bam, it's running again. Am I tightening the nuts too tight? Maybe a bad crimp on end of a cable?
