Default Installing new club car DS 36v series F/R switch

Hey,

I may have to replace a customers f/r switch because a contact is burned up and melted. It seems like I wont have the original switch to this car, but will be using a newer type (in pic) instead. I was wondering if someone could give me some guidance on how to hook this version up.

please and thanks

-steve

If it is the 5 solenoid setup, this should help:

The pic is a little funny but the swarm of reds and the single green cable go to the 2 bottom lugs on the F&R. If you want full power reverse omit the green cable to the middle of the battery pack and install a suitable size copper bar connecting the 2 bottom lugs together. Hope this makes sense.

Since he mentioned the original FNR switch was no longer available, I thought he is talking about the pre-1983 with the 5 solenoids.

The FNR he posted is a direct replacement for the Vglide carts, no adaptation is needed.
