Default 01 DS Power Drive Regen II 48V Not Moving

Howdy Boys,
GE 220amp controller, I can NOT seem to find a wiring diagram to match this vehicle exactly. 48V system, batteries tested and good. Charger will not turn on. Vehicle will not move. No reverse buzzer. Key switch good, Albright 48V solenoid new, still nothing. Motor tested, passed.

I left the Neg off for a day, since I have no reverse buzzer, it's hard to tell, but I felt that was good enough of a time to allow it to discharge to reset that lovely OBC.

I'm at a loss. I'm trying to get a diagram, now this:

http://www.golfcartpartsdirect.com/Category/280

is the closest I've found, except that's the Curtis controller and I need the diagram with the GE controller. Anyone have on handy?

I did see on some diagrams that the solenoids have resistors on them, so I added one since I had one handy. I suddenly got a back up buzzer. No movement still.

Controller I figured was bad, so I put a rebuilt one in, still no movement, and with the resistor removed since it wasn't there in the beginning, no back up buzzer still.

I did a continuity check on the key switch, but I'm done for the day.

I need your thoughts, wiring diagrams (that match this model), options and knowledge to help me with this vehicle. I want that AH HA! moment. Thank you all!

Let's start with your vehicle serial number so we can properly identify the drive system. I need the serial number and I need to know whether you have a rocker/toggle switch for Forward/Reverse or a mechanical lever for Forward/Reverse

One solenoid and mcor or two solenoids and a multi-step potentiometer (pie shape vglide)?

The RegenII carts did not use a pre-charge resistor, You need to remove it.

Your mistake however may have exposed the problem, the OBC is not providing power to the harness, which was an OBC function that only existed in the RegenII models.

Disconnect the 6-pin connector from the OBC and put a "jumper" wire or large paper clip between the White and Blue wires on the harness side connector.

Since You referenced an IQ diagram, I will assume You have the RegenII model without the Dynamic Brake solenoid, here is the diagram:

Ever have that moment where you want to reach through the computer screen and shake someones hand, followed by a beer? That's this moment!

THANK YOU Sergio. I jumped that wire, and we're good buzzing and moving.

So now I have a few more questions:

Can I cut those two wires and put them together with a spade connection? Or something along those lines?

Why was it so difficult to find that diagram?

Glad You got it working

Yes You can just connect those two wires together with a spade connector if You are not using the OBC for charging.

If You are still using the OBC for charging and assuming the OBC charging circuit is still working:
Cut the blue wire off and tape the side going to the OBC.
Strip a section of the white wire (without cutting it) and connect (solder) the harness side of the blue wire to the white wire.

The first Regen attempts by club car were very crude designs, You have the latest iteration (there were 3) before they came out with the IQ version.

The Excel system was by far their most sophisticated design for Regen control.

OBC has failed, so I'm going to bypass it. Thank you for your information.
