Missing park pedal shaft torsion spring
Please help me. I bought my first cart, a used 2011 Precedent 48 volt PQ. My parking brake will not release and I have determined that the torsion spring is missing from the stainless shaft that the small Park pedal pivots on. This spring keeps the Park pedal above the surface of the brake pedal when it is not being used. Without it, two bad things happen: 1. The Pedal stays down in park mode when doing normal braking. 2. The Park brake will not release when the Brake pedal is actuated.
Can I buy this spring as a service part? If not, what do I need to get this going? Thanks in advance for your help. |
