Default '12 CC - 1st timer....my wallet needs to lose weight! What now?

Hello everyone
This is my first golf cart. I have used one many times on my family farm and my dads just in general. After reading this let me know how well this cart is going to do or should I just sell and go gas??
Just landed a cart
2012 Club Car Precedent
Ugly cream color

What I'm already ordering
6" all sports a-arm lift (my mechanic really likes this brand, I'm open to another if someone says diff but from what I've seen its like ford/Chevy if looking at big brands)
Wheels/Tires- 14" with 22's or 23's
Seat covers

What I want and my uses:
Have some property I run around on. Rolling hills of KY. Some mud not too often
Also using at the local racetrack for events!
Will need batteries in next year or so but already pre planned that.
I think I bought a great price of $2300 so I saved some so ready to spend some.
Looking at performance budget of ~$500

I want, like all, more speed!
I want a rear seat foldable for carrying dog, cooler, odds and ends on the farm. I will be towing minor amounts of stuff on rear. ~400lbs

Friend is CC mechanic so should I just have them turn it up?
Recommended rear flip seat for some weight and not crazy expensive?
Controller or no?
Other speed and torque ideas that are best bang for buck on setup I am going to have and want?
Anyone recommend a seller for these products and the seat covers?
Main goals are 25mph and good torque for performance

All in on this cart
Wheels/tires/lift/performance/covers/bed seat I'm wanting to be in around <$2000

Controller from Scottyb site sponsor will take care of speed and torque. Try to use site sponsors they stand behind what they sell, and help keep this website up and running. What part of Ky?

Get a Jakes lift if you think that you will ever want to add front disc brakes.

You might also want to consider a smaller diameter wheel if you will be taking the cart off road. The shorter the sidewall, the rougher the ride.

Because the cart is 2012 I would have it programmed to the highest speed first...if that is not fast enough for your use then start thinking about a controller and an upgraded motor.

Bowling Green
I have been reading and saw quite a few things about ScottyB
I guess I just search his name to find his site or info?

Well I just blew my budget out of the water. Placed an order for ground up build. The way I want things done. So I'll be hopefully getting pics of progress up ASAP.
