2007 CC Precedent recommendations please
Ok, I posted I was getting an Ezgo, but when I went to pick it up I found a CC I liked more and we struck a deal. It is lifted with a GTW a arm lift, 22" tires, rear seat with heavy duty springs. What can I do to get 22mph, and some decent torque. We have some medium hills in the neighborhood and I use it hunting as well. I have brand new batteries as well. What do you recommend and what will it get me?

I would call the guts at Plum Quick and give them your specs and see what they would suggest.

A 500 amp controller and heavier cables along with that Plum Quick motor will make it spin the tires on concrete. Tahoedawg can fix you up, he did for me.

Re: 2007 CC Precedent recommendations please
Was hoping more to just do a controller upgrade if possible. And I don't want to spin tires. More looking for 20-25 mph with good torque. I don't want to slow down to 10mph up hills.

The plumquick motor alone should get you over the 20mph mark with standard controller. Cheap too, call them..

Re: 2007 CC Precedent recommendations please
In my 2011 I had a Plum Quick Bandit motor with stock controller and it would go 27-28 mph. It had a 6" lift with 22" tires and a rear seat. Going up some hills it would slow down a little, started out going 24 and it would slow down to 20. I would start out by getting a Plum Quick Bandit motor and if that don't do it for you, then call David about a controller.

Anyone else? What can I expect with a 400 controller, and stock motor. It's lifted with 22" tires.

Mid 20s and pretty substantial torque increase with Alltrax XCT400 controller, 2 gauge cables and heavy duty solenoid
