Default Club Car DS Jerking

I have a club car DS (not sure the model is as I can't find it) and having an issue when reversing and forward. As soon as I pressed the accelerator from the park position, it jerked or sudden jumped. I have added the gear oil but still doing the same thing. Do you think the cable or something else? Thanks for your help.

The serial number should be located under the driver side glove box put your head down by the pedals and look up. If you can find the serial number and post it here some of the gurus here will be able to help you better.

if you mean parked position as in the park brake is set, sometimes they set pretty tight and when you push the accelerator it snaps forward on your. other than that i once had a problem like that because of the V glide (not sure if yours has a v glide) towards the front of the car

Mine does not have v glide. It always happen when on stop position and even whilst running if you add little more pressing on the accelerator, I can feel the jerking from the rear wheel. Not sure if on the gear box or cable? Tks

We really need to know the model number. If it's a newer DS it could be a bad MCOR throttle. If it's an older one (late 80's) with the row of solenoids and resistor coils behind the batteries, the problem could be one or more of those solenoids not working properly.

When you jack the cart up, can you freely turn the wheels? You have a 97 model, so you shouldn't have a MCOR throttle. I'm not as familiar with what was offered that year as some of the guy's on here. Maybe some of them will drop in and help soon.

Thks. You are right. I jacked it up and checks both rear wheels. I can feel that both wheels seems have space whilst turning or rotating like there are gaps. Are that the differenial or wheels? Thks

Could be the brakes dragging a little, or could be a bearing in the rear end or axle, or something in the motor.
