Talking Pictures of more than 6 batteries please

I have seen quite a few posts where people speak of running real high voltages and running extra batteries. I would love to see some pics of how y'all are mounting these batteries and where.

I have no plans of doing this now, but hey... ya never know what the future holds right???

OK heres my reason for asking about the batteries. I was thinking of adding maybe a 12v battery and then installing a solenoid system to have a "BOOST"system to pass other carts as needed. Right now my speed is acceptable for the cart paths here but sometimes i want to go around a slightly slower cart, but just dont have the ooomph to do it. I was thinking of a floor mounted horn button to activate solenoid to add 12V more to scoot past someone, then release button and back to 48V. Shouldn't be too hard to wire up if I actually sat and thought about it.

ANY THOUGHTS

You can't add the extra voltage through the controller. "Boost" has been done, search Exreme DC.

OOOhhhh if only I had a controller cart..this would be soo simple...but expensive. Mines a 97 CC with VGlide and resistor coils. I went from 36 to 48with batteries, white HD solenoid and 4 gauge cables as of yesterday. I can sit at full throttle most of the time so burning up the resistors is not a problem.....but every once in a while I come to a slightly slower cart that I want to pass but just need the extra little oomph to go around safely. So my thought was to possibly add a 12V because I already have the charger, and then some solenoid system to put the 12V battery in line with the push of the floor button for a little "turbo boost" action

Sounds to me like you just need to go to 48 volts

ScottyB, I guess you don't remember but you and roady helped me greatly with the 48V conversion a couple weeks ago...I realize you guys help tons of people out but yeah...Im already at 48V with a huge improvement over the 36

Okay, tell me if I am wrong, (I know you will) but doesn't going to 48 volt only help out the length of time you can ride on a charge. Isn't it like a gas tank? The more fuel you have the farther you can go? thanks
