Question 06 Precedent, Braking issue

I have a braking issue. Seems as if the driver rear brake, is rubbing on the drum. Which is heating it up, stealing speed, and range. When I pulled the hubs, the pads on the driver side are much more worn then the other side. I have disabled the auto adjust, and have it set where it seems to work well. But I have a good amount of travel on the brake pedal before it starts to pull at the brakes. Is there an adjustment located under the pedal itself?
Hope somone can give me some insight.
Thanks LarryB

Usually when there is a braking issue isolated to one side, it is due to a mechanical failure isolated to the one side. Any adjustment you did probably just hid the fact of a sticking or binding part. My first thought would be to check the cable carefully...if the cable is sticky or binding...your brakes will be too. Thats just my golf cart rookie thought as related to way too many years of auto experience. Hang in there you will get more responses soon enough though
