Club car precedent (excel) quit, solenoid not clicking, also no power to small activation wires on solenoid.? Any fuses I'm over looking? Also doesn't controller send power to small wires on solenoid once pedal switch is made up?

The buzzer not working is indicative that the entire system shut down. The controller is the central brain of the entire electrical system. If the buzzer quit, it's either because the controller has failed, or the controller has lost power. My first step when this happens is to check the main power fuse. It's located in a black Delphi fuse holder right near the solenoid. If the fuse is good, unplug the six-pin connector from the On-board computer, also right near the solenoid, and jump the white wire to the blue wire on the wire connector plug that plugs into the OBC. If the cart will run with the connector jumped out, the OBC is bad. If not, let me know and we'll dig a little deeper.

Actually let's back up a step further and check all of your battery cables and make sure it's nothing as simple as a broken wire. Sorry, I get excited and jump to conclusions and start spitting out test procedures. lol

No bad fuse, all connections good, obc still works properly when charging cart, think I've got a bad controller, this is a friend's cart on 30" tires with stock motor/controller, I think the controller committed suicide

That doesn't mean the OBC is good. The charging circuit of the OBC can still work, but the solenoid lockout / control circuit can fail. Bypass the OBC and see if the cart will run. If it doesn't, I agree with you. The 30 inch tires have induced a slow, painful death to the controller. The cart is screaming for an upgrade. However, with 30 inch tires, you're gonna be hard pressed to find an upgrade adequate enough compensate for these enormous tires. I'd like to see a picture of it though. Sounds cool.

Tahoe dawg, I will try it in the morning, I also run 30" tires on my personal cart. I'm running a custom built D&D torque motor, xct 500, HD solenoid, and 2ga. Wire. My cart handles the tires very well. My buddy is ordering the same motor/controller to handle his 30s. He knew he needed the upgrade but figured he wait until something crapped out to do it....

Also Tahoe dog, for the obc bypass, are talking about unplugging the 12ga wire on the back of the obc and rig a connection directly to the - on #6 battery? Is there a different way you bypass them? I really don't see how that will make a difference in the cart moving....
