club car ds iq
2002 club car ds Iq ,brand new batteries ,after driving awhile cart starts beeping take foot off gas and wait for beeping to stop cart goes again but continues the beep beep beep process any ideas ? thanks

That sounds like what it does when the shifter gets thrown into N or R while driving forward. It could be a faulty FR switch...

So as your driving down the road, all of a sudden the cart will start beeping and slow down to a stop?

yes golf cart guy as you are driving it will start beeping and slow it self as you are driving

The behavior it is exhibiting is identical to when you accidentally shift gears while moving. It's a safety feature to avoid damage to the drivetrain. I would first test the FR switch then go from there...

Since it is a 2002, I would go ahead and install the drop out harness. I did it on my cart, even though I never had any issues prior. David at Revolution Golf Cars can get it for you. It's a 30 second install...
