Default Re: Speed and torque upgrade, but having problems

Yep. My resistor kit (not the Buggies Unlimited kit) included a zero Ohm resistor to go between T3 and T2. I just figured out that I inadvertently put the high throttle (T9) in J5 and Low throttle (T1) in the J4 inputs, which is backwards. So, I switched to the correct inputs and now the status light is all green. Maybe this will fix the neck snapping acceleration problem. I'll test it out tomorrow (nighttime right now). Thanks!

But still no ability to charge with my charger...any other ideas on the charger problem? My multi meter probes are to thick to fit into the charger receptacle sockets to check the voltage. If the fuse was blown, wouldn't I see that little fuse wire on the charger receptacle burned out? Or is that not really a good indicator?

Also, yes, I have 7 green lights which I think means it's a 5k-0 club car 3 wire throttle setting.

Measure the voltage at the charger receptacle sockets (where you plug the charger) to make sure You have 36v, perhaps the fuse at the charger receptacle is blown.

See above. I edited my reply, about the receptacle voltage. You're to quick to reply

Sergio, just noticed you're in Charlotte. I'm in Huntersville. If I can't figure this thing out, maybe I can talk you into checking out my cart over some beer?

The best indicator is a voltage reading at the sockets, perhaps you can tape 2 nails or some solid wire to your probes to improvise an extension.

Completed the check on the charger receptacle with the multimeter. No voltage across the sockets. Took it apart and opened fuse cover. The fuse is blown at the very end where it meets the bolt head. Couldn't see it clearly through the plastic fuse cover. Bought new fuse assembly - waiting on part to be shipped. Looks like that's the reason why charger not charging. Sergio, thanks for the advice!

Oh, and since switching the high and low throttle inputs, acceleration is now normal! Got the all green ready to go light on the Alltrax controller. Took it out for a spin. Drives like a charm now. Beat the 6 yr old uphill! Clocked a cool 17 mph on the speedo uphill. Quite pleased with the upgrade.

Thanks again!
