Default spinning the rear axle

I have read that after installing a lift kit some folks have spun the rear axle, can some one explain to me what that means, does it cause the rear brakes to tighten or drag.....thanks for any feedback

The rear axle doesn't stay in the location it should because of the longer u-bolts and lack of information about what tightness those bolts should be torqued to. So the entire housing shifts causing the brake cable to pull on the brakes and make them drag.

does it shift up or down....I'm thinking it would be down....and I agree there's nothing about what to torque the bolts to.

More rotation than shift. The axle rotates forward causing the brake lines to be pulled back and around the axle which causes the brakes to engage and lock up.

When you hit the brakes the tires, axle and motor become one unit and rotate at the axle forward at the top and backward at the bottom.

The motor is a heavy weight on top so it makes it easier.

As the bottom rotates away it tightens the brake cables causing lock up
