Default Radio cuts out when driving

In my new/used cart I notice that the radio cuts out when I'm driving. It's a 48v cart...so I presume that the electronics of the cart are interfering with the radio reception.

Any ideas on how to fix that?

If it happens when accelerating the issue is the amp and voltage drop, the radio senses it, and drops out until voltage comes back.

Come to think about it it does happen when I'm somewhere between 0 and full throttle.

Meaning it feels/seems/sounds like when I have it floored it doesn't cut out the radio that much if at all.

Any way to fix this? I'm assuming not unless I run a dedicated battery for the radio?

Not sure what size you need but you can use a capacitor and diode in your amp power line. This would regulate the power.
