Precident Prototype, maybe ?
Ok Guys. what have I got ? OK. I know it's a golf cart and it's a Club Car but after reading the sticky on serial numbers I'm confused more than normal. I have an '03 DS or so I thought but the serial number is a little weird. First 6 digits are supposed to type of cart, whether it's IQ and the year and week of manufacture. Here's the problem my cart looks like a DS but the serial number is QP0399-...... Now if I'm reading it right it's an IQ cart built in '03, no problem, but last time I checked there are only 52 weeks in a year and Precidents weren't manufactured until the '04 model year. Could it be a Precident with a DS body on it or what's up with this.
Something more for my feeble mind to chew on. |

????
I just called my CC dealer, and they don't know what the "99" means! So... they're going to call Club Car and find out! (they work hard for me... I spend money there!) It may be a bit before they get back to me... But... I'll get an answer! |

Re: Precident Prototype, maybe ?
LOL!
I think roady may be watching too! I pm'd him on what I found out... and what we know, seems to be totally different from what my CC dealer knows... (according to them... the last 2 numbers...99... mean nothing!) but you never know... This may be something worth looking into! (which I'm going to work on!) I'll try to get some info tomorrow for you cookn... (PM received) but it may run into Monday, or so! (heading to Milwaukee for the weekend) nothin' better then a good "challenge"! |

For 2 1/2 years I've always thought that the last 2 numbers, in the first group, were the production week, not just from this forum... but ALL of them! 99 just doesn't "jive" with what I've understood! |

Re: Precident Prototype, maybe ?
Just wondering if contacting CC in Augusta might have an answer to this one? Another avenue if needed. Got me?
