91 electric club car ds wont move
Hi all,
I have a 36 volt electric cart that suddenly won't move forward or backward. I have 36 volts at the solenoid. The batteries are fully charged. I have the cart rear axle jacked up. When I jump the solenoid the rear wheels turn. Without the solenoid jumped pressing on the pedal has no effect. What can I check to diagnosis the problem? Thanks, Mark |

Re: 91 electric club car ds wont move
this is the activation of solenoid
key switch >>> f/r micro switch >>> v-glide micro switch >>> solenoid check all wires and micro switches |

The f/r micro switch clicks like it should but the one in the v glide doesn't appear to do anything. I haven't checked the voltage coming from either yet but I am suspicious of the v glide one. I will remove it tomorrow and check it out. Thanks for the awesome diagram.

Re: 91 electric club car ds wont move
that switch is a *itch
to test it without removing it jack up cart and place on jack stands use a jump wire from the pack negative to the green wire stud on the solenoid key on >> forward engaged >>> press go pedal if cart motor runs then the v-glide micro switch is bad |

Re: 91 electric club car ds wont move
I swapped the micro switch in the v glide with the one from the f/r control and temporarily put a jumper in place of the one for f/r and it works! I ordered a new micros switch today to replace the jumper so when it comes I should be back in business.
Thank you very much for your help. |

Crash, try tracing the safety series with your finger on the diagram. I think a wire is miss-routed and a wire is missing.
The series on the diagram is--key s/w--f/r m/s--solenoid--v-glide m/s. . |
