Default Project Build Need Opinions

I bought this Club Car Golf Cart with Charger for $500 last week. Battery terminal broke and it has not been run in a year. I need some advice on what all I should do to this thing.

First off

What batteries should I buy? there are a lot of different brands. There is a guy in town that sells 6 Powertron Batteries for $538 installed. any other brands I should look for or stay away from?

heres what I Plan to do:

New Batteries $600 (current ones could still be good aside from the one that broke)
rear bed : $200
Tires - $225
Fluids- $100

Thoughts?

Thoughts? First thought that comes to mind is that installing a stereo and putting a camo wrap on a 16+ year old DS doesn't turn it into a $3K cart. But we all know what P. T. Barnum said. Perhaps you will find one.

It sounds like your objective is to flip the thing. Did you buy it because you stumbled onto what you thought was a great deal and you assumed you could turn a quick profit?

Already suggested... Attempt to salvage/charge the batteries and find out if cart runs before spending any money on a flip... Camo and stereo might not gain you a penny in return as they are both very subjective...

If you are trying to flip it, I would either fix them or put new batteries on it and call it good unless the tires are really bad. Some people don't want a dump bed.
