Question 1993 36 Volt Reverse Slow Foward

I HAVE A 1993 36 VOLT CLUB CAR THAT HAS A ISSUE WITH TAKE OFF IN FOWARD HAVE TO PUSH WITH FOOT TO GET STARTED. REVERSE WILL ALMOST SPIN THE TIRES. APPEARS TO BE WIRED CORECTLY BUT COULDNT MIND A CLEAR DIAGRAM WITH WIRE COLORS. THIS MODEL HAS ONE SOLENOID AND 5 COILS AND A WIPER SWITCH.

when you click on "electric Club Car" in the forum choices...the next screen that appears...at the top of the list are "STICKIES" and in there you will find your wiring diagrams. Good Luck

Sounds like poor contact at the F&R switch. Try wiggle the lever to improve the contact. Switch may be worn?

Hey..if you want to give your e-mail address...I can send you some pictures of my wiring I took of the same setup, before I took it all apart and changed the cables out. They are too high a resolution for posting here I think..I will try..but I would be glad to send them to you and you could zoom in on whatever areas you need and see the color wires too.

Okay..... once it gets going do you have the 'same' power you have in reverse? If not maybe you are not connected to all of the batteries in Forward? Where are the 2 cables at the bottom of the F&R connected? The one on the drivers side is power in for reverse and the pass side is forward ...possibly connect the two and use only the full power supply....Hope this makes sense? Check with a voltmeter.

3rd pic. green wire = 1/2 speed reverse power there is only 18v...My bad got the right and left mixed up!
