Speed Magnets are only about 30 bucks and quite simple to install but only work on certain carts. We would need to know the first couple letters from your carts serial number before advising either way...

Alltrax XCT400 & HD solenoid gives 22 - 23 mph for this cart on stock tires.
And 30% more torque

Being that l have an excel l do not have a reasonable solution. It's a shame l need maybe 3 mph more. Going down hills is fine but going up is a killer and with a passenger its 13 mph at best.

When l get my battery's ( 6X Trojan 875's) checked out and if they are still good (4 yrs old) l will have some $ to play with.

By the way most Starr's and newer ezzego's pass me on level ground or
Going up hill's.

My GPS App claims l can hit 19mph flat with driver only.

Finally found a local cart shop that has done a lot of Plum Quick engines. Being that l will be away for three weeks he will either pick it up or l will drive it over.

Before he orders the Bandit he wanted to check everything else. The engine
costs $225 plus $35 shipping each way if l did it myself which l can't.

He is guessing that it will cost between $300/$400 Which l feel is fare.

I will also pick up 4 tires with mags he showed me a set of 10" on another cc which looked neat.

I will also have my batteries checked.

Thanks

Alan

Sounds like you are on the right path, check batteries first and go from there. If you do get the Plum Quick Bandit motor I think you will be very happy, done a few myself with great results. Keep us updated then you get back.

The numbers above is what l would expect from the bandit PQ is the above solution better?

I like the 30% more torque noted above.

Is the price on both solutions about the same.

Thanks

Alan

Ps a cart shop will be doing everything.
