Default Re: normal brake noise?

Since the noise is once per revolution, I'd get the drum shaved at a machine shop. I haven't had to change a cart drum yet, but auto and trunk drums have gotten so bad that I now get my replacement drums at NAPA because in my area they are the only parts house that has a machine shop in the back. The last 3 out of 4 drums I've gotten had to be turned right out of the box.

Don't ever turn a golf cart drum, they are way to thin as it is. Drums I use I have never had a problem

Thanks for the correction. Even the auto drums are so thin they usually can only be turned once.
