yes The red wire on pin 1 is tied to the red wire that is positive on the solenoid which is the white/black that comes from the fwd/ rev switch.

What You are describing is not possible unless the cart is not wired per the diagram posted.

If You were really measuring 0v when the wire was plugged to the solenoid that would indicate a direct short and it would either blow the micro-switch on the FNR or catch the wire on fire.

If the diode on the solenoid was installed backwards (or defective), that would provide a short across the solenoid coil, but that should take out the OBC lockout circuit so it would be a one time event.

Maybe the OBC lockout (yellow wire) has a current limiting circuit that is actually working.

Please test the diode (or just temporarily remove it) on the solenoid to see if the voltage still drops.

Ok here is where I am at. Replaced controller. Resister is no longer getting hot sitting at rest. Still no solenoid with pedal.

I still have voltage on my solenoid positive as long as it is not attached to the solenoid. As soon as I connect it to the solenoid I loose my power. Next I jumped directly from the battery positive and negitive to the solenoid and it is working. Press the pedal and almost all the way to the floor it starts going but has dead spots.

My question is I suspect the mcor is bad. I have already up graded to the mco4 last time it went bad. So instead of buying another complete kit can I just replace it with the 105116301 mcor?

Yes, order the MCOR4 alone, 105116301. The conversion kit only needs to be purchased once.

Totally flustered now!!! New controller if I go strait from the battery to the solenoid cart worked but was erratic, replaced mcor. Now I still have no solenoid with the pedal. Jump from battery pos and neg to solenoid and cart works great.

I have pack voltage all the way to the solenoid as long as the wire is not connected to the solenoid. As soon as I put the wire in I loose voltage. So next I went strait from the green/white wire going to the micro switch and ran a new wire to the solenoid and controller still lose power as soon as I put on solenoid positive??????

Can you upload a picture of how your solenoid is wired?

The red wire on top is pos. It comes from the micro switch, starts as a white with a black strip then splits to 2 reds one goes to the sol and the other to term 1 on the controller. The yellow comes from the obc.

That looks good, so to make sure we understand the test you are making:

Where are the two meter probes connected when you are measuring +48v?

When You say "loose voltage", you mean the meter reads 0v at the connection above?

Which wire do you connect to the solenoid that makes the meter read 0v?
