I'm jealous.... I just bought an old DS and I like your taste in equipment. Keep us posted on the install.

You will enjoy every minute of it and learn a lot along the way. You will have pride in your ride because you did it yourself.

I went this same route with my jeep several years ago. I could buy a jeep or a hunting cart already built, but I will know everything there is to know about my cart when I'm done and I can look at it and say I built that! To me that's worth more than anything.

Here's a link to my jeep thread in case you're interested.

Quick question...

I am having a difficult time finding headlight lenses, bulbs, and wiring for a pre-93 Club Car DS.

I have this one decent lens and two good bezels, but no bulbs or wiring. Everything I'm finding is either a kit or an all in one replacement. Is there anywhere I can just get the lenses, bulbs, and wiring harnesses? Or is a kit the only way to go?

They don't make them anymore. Get a new style kit and enlarge the headlight openings to fit. Those old lights were not very bright to begin with.
