Default 04 Club Car not charging

I have a 04 Club Car serial # AQ0427-404361 that will not charge. I cleaned all the cabled and checked the water level in the batteries and still nothing. The charger will click and you can hear it humming but the hand doesn't move off of the zero on the gauge. What should I do or where do I start?

Since your charger hums- take a piece of wire with alligator clips on both ends-clip one onto the fuse at the charge receptical plug, and the other to main battery negative, the charger needle should move to show it is charging

I did that but the hand still didn't move. While I was checking I got out my volt meter and I have 48v at the batteries?!? but the cart moves slowly and will not go up any hill what so ever. also the battery light was flashing last night out of the blue without being touched for at least an hour

Are you sure you have power to the charger from wall plug? It's happen before.

Okay it not my OBC. While I was pulling the seat my I accidentally left the charger plugged in and my knee bumped the plug pretty good and it started charging for a second and quit again. If I wiggle the plug in the socket it will charge! Time for farther investigation

The red terminal in the charging plug on the cart has corroded off in the bottom of the plug. time to order a new plug.
