Default Reverse Beeping

So my dog really hates (as in freaks out all over) when the cart is in reverse or the roll away noise happens.

Any way to disable that sound only? In lieu of the sound anyone know of a rear brake light kit that has white backup lights (that would engage when in reverse)...like a car?

You should never disable any safety devices. It could cost you big money.

And do not remove the tag from your mattress
Find the beeper and stuff cotton in it. Hopefully this muffles the sound to where it is tolerable. Alternatively, you could unplug either one of the 2 wires going to the beeper to silence it but, of course we cannot recommend you do that for safety reasons.

Thousands of people do this for deer hunting where a back up beeper would clear the woods for miles.

Amongst other things the first thing I do is rip off the tags despite what someone well meaning do gooder tells me I should or shouldn't do...

While I it never crossed my mind if the beeper was still connected on my cart there is absolutely no way one of our dogs would have anything to do with the cart as she actually gets upset to the point of hiding at the 2nd warning beep from a smoke detector....

I found my beeper in the dash panel near the key switch and promptly unplugged it.

Ive been expert witness on a few golf car accident cases- and some no reverse buzzer issues.....Buzzer doesn't work and you run someone over....you lose

as did i

though i mostly use my cart around my 2 acres, rarely drive around others
if you us your cart in a campground or around town i'd try to muffle it a bit to be less annoying
