87 Electric Club Car issues
I am wiring up an 87 DS resistor cart. New Batteries. New solenoids. Wired up to this diagram below.
Solenoids all kick in as they should, but motor doesn't start up until solenoid #5 kicks in. In other words I have to press pedal all the way to floor before motor starts running. Any ideas what I might have done wrong? This is a picture of the solenoids wiring. |

Re: 87 Electric Club Car issues
When the last solenoid kicks in, does the cart give you whiplash (likes it's full power)?

Yes. Whiplash. Thanks for the replies. I did some more troubleshooting. Green wire was firing 4th. Order was red, white, blue, green, black. Instead of green, red, white, blue, black. Rewired so correct solenoids were firing when they were supposed to.
