Default Flooded carryall 6

My 1999 carryall went under during the flood last month in Louisiana. I had backed it up on a ramp and managed to keep the motor and most of the cart dry, but the charger and some of the electronics under the seat sat in water about a day. The charger had about 4" of water as well as the other electrical parts under the seat. When the water went down, I drove it around a few days, but it wouldn't charge. I bought a new charger and it charged up, but now when I put it in gear it goes without touching the accelerator pedal. Forward and reverse!!!!!! Any ideas??? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks, JD

You will probably have to replace all of the switches that were under water. Start with the ones in the pedal. I would also have the motor serviced if it was under water. The brush holders will rust and keep the brushes from sliding properly. Disassemble and clean it. You probably also have water in the rear end. Change the rear end oil.

I had backed it up on a ramp. The motor didn't go under. I put a new charger on it and charged it up and it wouldn't move. I unplugged a 30 amp fuse from the charger to the cart and then it would lurch forward or reverse when I shifted into gear. If I plugged the fuse back in, it wouldn't move, but it would charge...........? Not sure what to change next! It will go but BARELY!!!!!! Bout 1 MPH....... :(

Got an MCOR upgraded kit from David at Revolution to replace the old pentiometer and now it goes like it used to!!!!! Only thing now is that it still won't charge unless I plug fuse back in, then when I jgo to use it, I have to unplug that same fuse so it will run!!! :(

Not sure if that means I need a new OBC or not. Could that be telling the cart that it's plugged in and not to go?

Sounds like something is definitely wrong with the OBC lock-out circuit. Somebody else should be able to confirm this...
