Default One mans trash is another mans... cart!

On my way to my parents house I found this pushed out to the road with the rest of the trash. 2006 Precedent, just missing the charger and seat bottom. It was flooded 2 months ago, my parents had 6' of water in their house. So I'm guessing the seat bottom floated off. After opening the controller surprisingly there are no signs that water got inside of it. The cart has not ran in a long time because the wiring harness was completely chewed up by mice. I am already rebuilding a 2005 Precedent so I have to decide on what to do with this one. If the controller and motor checks out I'll probably fix and sell it.

You live in a pretty fancy neighborhood if they are throwing golf carts out with the trash!

A man southern Louisiana reports he used his golf cart to take the trash out thursday AM. The cart failed to restart so he lifted the seat and the seat hinge broke, so he took the seat back to the garage to try to fix it. When he returned with the seat the cart was gone. Police are canvassing the neighborhood to see if anybody saw anybody near the cart.

I am sure I'll find more carts. 110,000 homes flooded in my area. Most people lost everything they own. There are trucks with grapples picking up debris so a golf cart is nothing. Just a pic from my parents street.
