![]() We just got this cart on Wednesday. The first day it drove just fine, I didn't notice any problems. The 2nd time I took it to get my kids from the bus and it didn't seem to be going as fast as it did the first time, even on a flat surface and then going uphill it was really slow and seemed to struggle a bit. My husband took it out for the 3rd time just now and it wasn't going as fast as it did and going up the hill it was super slow and shuddering. The serial number starts with PH, it supposedly has 2014 batteries. We charge it every time we run it. The main idea of having it is so that my kids can drive themselves to the bus stop, I don't want to he worrying that they're going to he stranded all the time. We don't need it to be fast, just keep up a decent speed on hills.

![]() Have the batteries been maintaned? Water check regularly, or let them fully drain and so on. You may need to test the batteries and make sure they are all still good. I'm a noob so other will reply with other options.

![]() What is the voltage of the battery pack, and each one by there self. Measure after full charge and 12 hour rest.

![]() I would start by confirming the age of the batteries.

![]() This is where I'd start too as on many occasions people flat out lie about battery age; those 2014 batteries are likely 2012 batteries.... How is the water level? And while you say it has been charged after every use are you sure it is charging? Do you have a voltage meter that you could provide us with some after charging/rest voltage and even better while in use voltage?

![]() Yes teecro. I'm not the technical expert you are, but, seems odd to me the pack would be 2 years old. 2012 cart, does not add up. While properly cared for batteries can last a long time it has been my experience that there is a huge difference between 2 and 4 year old batteries.

![]() We have seen it right here where a buyer was told his 2012 cart had 2014 batteries only to find out that they were indeed 2012 batteries... With OE batteries there is a HUGE difference between 2 and 4 year old batteries as they seem to start failing at the 3 year mark... | |
