Default Key Switch Issue

2014 Club Car Precedent - Electric 48V - 6 Eights
After installing a Street Legal light kit and a voltage reducer for the accessories the KEY SWITCH is not working[. The cart works fine with the Key ON or OFF. I disconnected the wires at the switch - made no difference. Need some help trouble shooting. --- Can't really say if the key ever worked, I got the cart to make it LSV --- Thanks

Does your voltage reducer have a trigger wire for the key switch? If so you may have it hooked up to the wrong wire, I would recheck your wiring.

I checked to reducer wiring - it's correct and no trigger wire. I'm going to check to solenoid next. .. Thanks

I don't understand your question. Perhaps if you would rephrase it. Do the lights work?

You can operate the cart normally FWD & REV with the key switch in the off position. I disconnected the wires at the switch and it made no difference. I'm going to check the solenoid next. Thanks

It sounds like you are getting +48v to the cold side of the key switch (blue wire).

Disconnect the gray wire on the bullet connector that You connected to the light harness on the right/passenger side of the dash board and see if the constant +48v goes away.

I've seen this before. Post pictures of your battery pack and show me where you hooked your reducer up to your battery pack.

I checked the SW blue wire it had 36V?? - I disconnected the grey wire and lost the voltage at the blue wire.
I am attaching pics of the voltage reducer installation:
