Default Question; Flipping an Axle?

I am wondering if the axle-motor from a 48v Club Car can be rotated back, so the motor is at the same level as the axle shafts? Or will the motor fill up with oil from the diff? Any way to fix that? Thanks all!

The motor won't get oil in it, but the differential is designed to have all of the oil pooled up in the bottom of it. If you lay it back at such an incline as you describe, the self oiling design of the differential may not work properly.
