car battery vs cart battery
I have a project that hasnt went my way. It is currently 36v solenoid set up. I have built and tested it with 3 larger 12volt truck batteries. Will I get a huge run time and/or power increase with 6 6volts?

Re: car battery vs cart battery
Yes.
Golf cart batteries have a unique heavy plate constriction which is different than the thin plate construction of a starting battery. Some differences of the this type of construction are: 1. more amperage storage 2. ability to maintain voltage while giving up large amounts of amperage quickly 3. ability to take a deep discharge without damage 4. The ability to do #1.2.3. for years with proper charging. |

Re: car battery vs cart battery
truck batteries are far from golf cart batteries. They are not designed for deep discharge.
