02 CC DS electric whine
I have 02 48 volt DS stock. It whines when accelerating and the whining stops when I let it coast, is there an easy way to find out if it is the motor or rear end?

Re: 02 CC DS electric whine
Electric motors have somewhat of a whine even when they're new. Is there any way you could record a video of it and post it to youtube so we can hear the noise you're describing?

You also can jack the cart up and engage the drive wheels and listen to the various potential noise areas with a broom-stick...places like the rear of the motor, each axle bearing, and the rear end housing.
