Post Club car AM10039 Motor Centering Kit Install

Bought a 2001 club car ds that had noise coming from rear. I thought it was a tire rubbing but lifted it up and realized the noise was coming from motor. I read this forum and it was extremely helpful and I bought the motor centering kit for $18.00 or so but couldn't find much info on installing so I thought I would post. I have no previous experience working on carts. I removed seat back and basket to access the maintenance port. Removed all 4 screws that hold motor to transaxle. Note I didn't have to jack up cart or remove wires to motor. Wiggle the motor to pull away from transaxle. Rest motor on axle. Install flat washer, spring, spline washer, then cone shaped rubber with cone pointing to motor. Tighten it all back up. Took about 1 hour and like I say I am not a mechanic. Sound totally went away and I swear I think the cart got faster. Hope this helps someone.
