11" wide tires on stock 7" wide wheels?
I'm looking to put some larger tires on my 8" wheels and wanted to go with 20x11-8 but wasn't sure if they'd fit my wheels or how'd they look. Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance!

If it's a stock rim, that's pushing it, but it will work....

micc,
Welcome to the forum. I have 22x11's on my 8 inch wheels and they seem to work . Is your cart lifted? If not, you may have tire rubbing on tight turns. More information on your setup will help on answering your question. |

Sure it will most likely work but the tires will not wear properly.

I have 22x11's on my 8" rims but they are offset rims and I have raised the rear on my cart with auto shackles I got from Advance Auto. If you plan to use your stock shocks then you may want to also purchase shock extenders from an auto store too. I did.

Thanks guys! I'll have a Jake's 4" double A arm lift on it next weekend. Just waiting for it to arrive. I could even go with 10" wide tires too.

I think 10s would fit your stock rims better. Should have less clearance issues too. Traction wise, the difference should be negligible and maybe even better since more tread will contact the ground. Keep us posted.

Thanks! I guess I'll know more once the lift is on. I'll be able to see if the rims will even fit before I worry about tires.
