MCOR issue
Hello TD,
I have been reading this thread for several nights. I seem to convince myself I have an MCOR issue, then talk myself out of it. My Cart: CC DS Series 48 2002 / all new batteries and charged Two Issues: (a) Pedal does not achieve audible "click" until 2 / 3 depressed. ? However, once the contact "click" it operates smoothly from very slow (crawl) to top speed. No jerking. There is not much travel from crawl to top speed though when you start 2 / 3 depressed (or probably 4 inches of top pedal travel). (b) Although smooth from the contact "click", top speed is 10-11 mph? I don't think 2 /3 depressed is normal, but I don't know if it is a MCOR issue or some adjustment. I have also seen post on shimming some play in the pedal, which I did not fully understand. I also don't know if 10-11 mph is NOT normal for 2002 DS? What speed should I get? What about the 2 /3 depression? Thanks a ton for the thread and your assistance. John in Savannah |

MCOR issue
I'm not sure if you have a mcor issue. But 10-11 mph's is about what I was getting on my 2001 DS series drive with stock size tires. I had a little pedal play but sounds like you have a little more. I did shim my pedal. With larger tires I have a top speed of 14 on completely flat paved roads. In my thread below, post #19 shows a pic of the shimmed pedal. And where I stated the higher speed in that post I wasn't looking at mphs. I corrected my statement on a later post in the same thread.

Re: MCOR issue
As mentioned before, the excessive pedal travel before the MCOR switch "clicks" is a result of a worn pedal assembly, not an MCOR issue.
Here is another solution with additional pictures that may help You: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tml#post258017 |

OP has a 2002 so I don't believe he has the V Glide setup. My 2001 doesn't have it. I could be wrong... |

Re: MCOR issue
Lol no your right, my mind was just thinking of how the v glide works and taking off can be delayed by that pedal rod adjustment. Sorry I know it was not pertinent here
